Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to golf simulator gift vouchers purchased from The Range 24/7. Please read them before you buy.

These terms govern the purchase and use of golf simulator time vouchers ("Vouchers") issued by The Range ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing or redeeming a Voucher, the purchaser and every person who redeems or uses it ("you") agree to these terms.

1. Purchase

1. Vouchers are sold online via www.therange247.co.nz and are issued electronically unless otherwise stated.
2. Each Voucher entitles the holder to redeem the stated number of hours of simulator bay time ("Sim Time"), as specified at the time of purchase.
3. Prices are in NZD and include GST/tax where applicable. We reserve the right to change Voucher prices at any time; the price paid at purchase is honoured regardless of later price changes.

2. Redemption and Bookings

1. Sim Time must be booked in advance via contact by email or phone and is subject to bay availability.
2. Each booking must be for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 4 hours of Sim Time per session.
3. Sim Time on a Voucher may be used across multiple bookings. You do not need to redeem the full Voucher balance in a single visit.
4. Sim Time can only be redeemed and used during staffed hours. Staffed hours are published on our website/at the venue and may change from time to time without notice.
5. Only one bay may be booked per Voucher redemption at any one time. Multiple bays cannot be booked concurrently under a single booking.
6. A maximum of 4 golfers may play per bay per session, regardless of how much Sim Time is redeemed.
7. The Voucher code (or reference number) must be provided at the time of booking and presented (digitally or printed) at check-in. We may refuse redemption if a valid code cannot be produced.
8. Bookings are subject to the Cancellation Policy at clause 5 below. Late arrival will reduce the Sim Time available in that session. Sessions will still end at the originally booked time.

3. Validity and Expiry

1. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, after which any unused Sim Time is forfeited.
2. We are not obliged to extend, honour, refund or replace an expired Voucher, and do not accept responsibility for reminding customers of upcoming expiry, though we may send a courtesy reminder at our discretion.
3. Partially used Vouchers retain the remaining balance of Sim Time until the original expiry date; unused time within a single session cannot be carried over, refunded or banked for a later session.

4. Transfer, Cash and Exchange

1. Vouchers are non-transferable between persons or bookings once issued to a named purchaser/recipient at the time of purchase.
2. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, in whole or in part, and cannot be exchanged for any other product, service, merchandise or credit.
3. Lost, stolen or deleted Voucher codes may be reissued only where proof of purchase can be provided; we are not liable for Vouchers redeemed by a third party who obtains a valid code, however that occurred.

5. Cancellation Policy

1. If a booking is cancelled, rescheduled, or not attended (no-show) within 6 hours of the booked start time, the Sim Time allowance for that booking is forfeited and will not be refunded, reissued, or credited back to the Voucher.
2. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 6 hours before the booked start time do not incur forfeiture, and the Sim Time remains available on the Voucher for a future booking (subject to the Voucher's expiry date at clause 3).
3. To cancel or reschedule a booking, guests must contact us and receive a response via phone or email before the 6-hour cutoff.

6. Code of Conduct and Right of Refusal

1. All golfers must:
   1. be considerate of other guests using the venue;
   2. be considerate of the venue, its facilities, and its equipment; and
   3. be considerate of staff, and follow reasonable staff direction.
2. A guest is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of any simulator equipment, screens, clubs, or other venue property damaged as a result of that guest's negligence.
3. We may refuse entry, end a session early, or refuse future bookings without refund of Sim Time used or owed where a guest breaches clause 6.1, behaves in a manner that endangers others, or damages venue equipment or property.
4. Participation is at the golfer's own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for injury, loss or damage arising from use of the facility, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded (e.g. under applicable consumer protection legislation).

7. Minors

1. Golfers under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult for the duration of the session.

8. Amendments

1. We may update these terms, the Code of Conduct, staffed hours, and the Cancellation Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of booking/redemption applies to that session.

9. Privacy

1. Personal information collected during purchase and booking is used only to process the Voucher, manage bookings and communicate with you about your booking, in line with our Privacy Policy available on our website.

10. Governing Law

1. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
